Can we schedule a consultation or phone call before booking?
Absolutely! We’d be happy to schedule a time to discuss your goals, answer your questions, and explore how we can bring your vision to life.
Do you charge by the hour or is there a flat rate for the entire event?
We charge a flat rate with no hidden fees. Additional charges are limited to applicable taxes and travel outside the Wasilla/Palmer area at $0.75 per mile, calculated round trip.
A service fee applies if we arrive and cannot access the property because the person signing the agreement has not arranged access.
How Do You Deliver Photos & Videos?
Your photos and videos are delivered through our online Client Portal. You’ll receive a gallery link and a unique download PIN so you can view and download your imagery anytime. Gallery access never expires.
How Does The Booking Process Work?
Once you reach out, we’ll contact you through your preferred method to discuss your needs and confirm pricing. We’ll then send you a digital service agreement outlining the date, time, location, requested services, and other details we’ve agreed on.
Once you’ve signed and returned the agreement, your booking is confirmed. After the job is complete, we’ll send you a link to your online gallery. Payment is due before you can view or download your photos and videos.
Can I use the photos for social media and marketing materials?
Absolutely! Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you receive a non-exclusive license to use your delivered photos and videos for personal or commercial purposes related to your property or project, including social media, advertising, and marketing materials.
MatSu Aerial Imaging LLC retains all copyrights and ownership rights to the media. We may also use it for portfolio, advertising, promotional, educational, and marketing purposes unless prohibited by a written agreement.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?
Travel within the Wasilla/Palmer area is included in our package pricing. For locations outside this area, a travel fee of $0.75 per mile applies, calculated for the round trip.
What If The Weather Is Bad?
Safe operation is our priority. MatSu Aerial Imaging LLC may delay, cancel, or reschedule services due to weather, airspace restrictions, FAA requirements, equipment issues, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. If your booking is affected, we’ll contact you to discuss the next steps.
How Do We Pay You?
We’ll send you a digital invoice with multiple payment options. You can pay in advance or once your photos and videos are ready. Full payment is required before you can view or download your imagery.
Can't I Just Use My Own Drone?
You can, provided you meet the applicable FAA requirements. Flying a drone to photograph or film a property for sale is considered non-recreational use even if you own both the property and the drone. These flights generally fall under FAA Part 107 rules, which include pilot certification and other operating requirements.
With MatSu Aerial Imaging LLC, you can leave those requirements to an FAA-certified drone pilot and focus on selling your property. We’ll handle the flight and deliver professional photos and videos that help your listing stand out.
